  • Lubricity

    - Halogen elements have long been used as additives for lubricants. Graphene can safely replace these because of its unique properties.

    - Graphene is a two-dimensional material with an extremely thin thickness at the nano level, and has low coefficient of friction. Therefore, it can play the role as additives in the lubricant.

    - Graphene can also improve durability and the lubricity of the material by coating the substrate in the form of a solution.

    - BESTGRAPHENE is developing coating solutions with an improved lubrication performance and durability by utilizing the functionalized graphene technology (UCMG).

  • Lightweight

    - Unique properties ; the lightness and strength of graphene enable the development of next-generation ultra-light and multifunctional composite materials.

    - Challenges exits that need to be overcomed (cost, affordability, environmental impact, infrastructures, sustainability, regulations, etc.)

    - BESTGRAPHENE is striving to develop products that can realize economical, sustainability and multifunctionality through a consortium establishment with domestic and foreign related organizations and companies.

    - We recently developed and produced prototypes that were combined with the polymer resin, CFRP, or lightweight foam using functionalized graphene and GRM (Graphene Relative Materials) composition technology.

    - With partnered organizations, we are developing products for home furniture, outdoor equipment, the transportation industry such as automobiles and aircraft.

  • Anti-bacteria

    - Graphene has the ability to kill bacteria and viruses through physical and chemical interaction.

    - Technology which control the dimension of graphene can induce and optimize oxidative stress resulting from the functional group of graphene. It is very

    important for implementing antibacterial functions.

    - BESTGRAPHENE is developing an antibacterial mask, graphene foams, and soles for outdoor shoes with partners using functionalized graphene (UCMG) and intermediate material technology (UCG).
